What is included in the Summer Membership?

Your Summer Membership includes unlimited access to participating weekly membership classes throughout July and August, along with exclusive member community gatherings and special pop-up member events. It is designed to support a consistent, meaningful practice while becoming part of the growing mandira community.

Which classes are included?

All membership classes are clearly labeled and marked with a on our schedule.

Your membership includes participating weekly classes such as:

  • Kundalini Yoga

  • Power Yoga

  • Restorative Yoga

  • Mat Pilates

  • Barefoot Sculpt

  • Sound Healing

Our schedule continues to evolve, and additional membership offerings may be added throughout the season.

What is not included?

The following offerings require separate registration:

  • Specialty Workshops (non-membership workshops as listed on our website)

  • Ceremonies

  • Reiki & Sound Immersions

  • Teacher Trainings & Certifications

  • Retreats

  • Private Sessions

Each of these experiences is individually priced and may be reserved separately.

How much does the membership cost?

Unlimited In-Person Membership: $111 per month

Unlimited Livestream Membership: $77 per month

If membership isn’t the right fit for you, we also offer Drop-In Classes and Class Passports.

When am I billed if I join today?

When you purchase your membership, your payment is processed immediately and your membership begins right away, allowing you to start reserving and attending classes immediately.

How does prorated billing work?

Your first month is billed at the current membership rate. After that, your membership automatically renews on a 31-day basis. The Summer Membership program concludes on August 31. At that time, your second month will be billed at a prorated amount based on the remaining days in the Summer Membership program.

What happens at the end of August?

Maggie and Sue are thoughtfully evaluating our current offerings along with the invaluable feedback we are receiving from our community.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has joined us during this inaugural Summer Membership. Our vision is to continue growing this community with intention and heart.

Expanded membership options will be announced in mid-August, and you’ll have the opportunity to continue with the membership option that best supports your practice.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. You may cancel your membership at any time before your next renewal.

As a member, do I need to reserve my classes?

Yes. We encourage all members to reserve and, if needed, cancel their classes in advance. Our studio is intentionally intimate, and many classes have limited space.

What if a class is full?

If a class reaches capacity, we encourage you to join the waitlist. If a space becomes available, you will be notified automatically.

Can I attend without becoming a member?

Absolutely. We also offer:

  • Drop-In Classes

  • 6-Class Passes

  • 12-Class Passes

These options are perfect if you prefer a more flexible schedule.

Can I share my membership with someone else?

Memberships are for one person only and are non-transferable.

Can I take more than one class each day?

Absolutely. Your membership is unlimited. You’re welcome to attend multiple classes in a single day or enjoy all 15+ membership classes each week. Practice as often as you’d like and create a rhythm that supports your life.

I’m new to yoga. Is this membership for me?

Absolutely. We welcome students of all experience levels.

Our schedule includes everything from gentle and restorative practices to more dynamic movement, allowing you to create a practice that supports your unique needs.

If you’re brand new to yoga, we recommend beginning with one of our Gentle Yoga classes. Maggie or Sue can advise you on which class is best to start with.

Are men welcome?

Absolutely. While many of our students are women, mandira is a welcoming community for everyone.

We’re also excited to introduce our upcoming Men’s Foundations class, created specifically for men looking for a supportive and comfortable place to begin or deepen their practice.

Can my teenager attend classes?

Yes. Many of our classes are appropriate for teenagers.

Because every student is unique and every class offers a different experience, we recommend reaching out to Maggie or Sue before registering so we can help you choose the class that is the best fit.

Can I bring my young child?

Some of our family and specialty offerings are designed specifically for children, while our regular membership classes are intended for adults and older teens.

If you’re interested in bringing your child, please reach out to Maggie or Sue. We’ll happily help guide you to the most appropriate class or program.

How do I know which class is right for me?

One of the things that makes mandira special is the diversity of our teachers and offerings. Every instructor brings a unique style, energy, and area of expertise.

If you’re unsure where to begin, simply reach out. Maggie and Sue are always happy to recommend classes based on your experience, goals, physical needs, and interests.

I have an injury or physical limitation. Can I still participate?

In most cases, yes. We offer a wide range of classes designed to meet students where they are.

Please let your teacher know about any injuries or medical concerns before class, and don’t hesitate to contact Maggie or Sue if you’d like guidance on choosing the safest and most supportive class for your needs.

What should I bring to class?

Please bring a yoga mat and a water bottle. Some classes may recommend a towel or additional props, which will be noted in the class description.

Is the studio heated?

No. Our studio is not heated.

Can I purchase a membership or class as a gift?

Yes! Gift certificates are available and make a beautiful gift for birthdays, holidays, celebrations, or anyone looking to begin a meaningful wellness practice.

How do I update my payment information?

Simply reach out to Maggie or Sue, and we’ll be happy to assist you with updating your payment information.

Where is mandira located?

mandira is located at 14 Sanford Street, Fairfield, CT, just one block from the Fairfield Metro train station. Street parking and nearby public parking are available.

How do I purchase my membership?

Simply choose the membership that’s right for you, complete your purchase online, and your membership will automatically be added to your account. From there, you can reserve your classes and begin your practice immediately.
