There are moments when the veil feels thinner. When the noise of ordinary life quiets, intuition becomes clearer and we can feel the presence of something beyond what we can see.
Between Worlds is an intimate two-night mandira retreat held across Halloween, the Day of the Dead and the 111 Angelic Gateway.
Together, we will explore the space between the seen and unseen through yoga, meditation, Reiki, mediumship, intuitive development, ancestral remembrance, ritual and a deeply restorative crystal sound bath.
The retreat has been intentionally designed with space to breathe. There will be time to walk by the water, sit on the porch, read, journal, rest, explore the grounds or visit the historic town of Old Lyme. You may arrive with an intention, a question or simply a desire to step away from your everyday life. There is nothing you need to know, prove or perform. Simply enter the space and allow yourself to receive.

No previous experience with yoga, meditation, Reiki, mediumship or intuitive development is necessary. All practices are invitational and all levels are welcome.

Our first beautiful meal together, filled with connection, oracle cards, intuitive messages and a little magic. We will open the retreat circle and set our intentions for the weekend.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31

For anyone who wishes to rise early, we will greet the morning with a quiet meditation by the water.

Remain resting beneath blankets as the vibrations of crystal singing bowls calm the nervous system, soften the body and allow the morning practice to fully integrate.

ACCOMODATIONS
Elegant Historic Nine Bedroom Estate On 13 Acres Overlooking Long Island Sound
This historic, rambling home sits on 13 acres at the end of a private lane overlooking the Long Island Sound and the Connecticut River. The views are spectacular with the beach just a short walk from the front door. Cherished by families for generations, this 9 Bedroom/5 Bath home is stately and elegant while being welcoming and comfortable for all ages.
The newly renovated kitchen with island and granite counter tops features two stoves, two refrigerators, two sinks and two dishwashers for those who love to cook and entertain. Dine with your family and friends in the gathering room, formal dining room or outside on the front lawn.
A large living room with ample seating has views both south and west toward the Connecticut River. Practice your favorite songs on the upright Sohmer in the Piano room. There is even a toy room for the little ones with games and many books.
For those who love the outdoors, take a walk, run or bike ride along the private lane. Grab your favorite book and a glass of iced tea and relax on the lounge chairs under the trees. In the summer enjoy cocktails on the North Porch as the sun sets over the Connecticut River. Many wonderful family barbecues have been enjoyed on the front lawn facing the Long Island Sound. If you are lucky you might catch fireworks across the Sound or on the River from the Adirondack chairs.
The twin bedroom and full bath, located on the first floor, are handicapped accessible. The other eight bedrooms and four bathrooms are on the second floor accessible by a front and back staircase. Each room is carefully decorated in a classic New England style.
You will find everything you need to enjoy a summer week at this classic home. There is a laundry room, outdoor barbecue grill, and outdoor shower. You can have a lively game of American croquet and bocce on the front lawn.
The scenic town of Old Lyme and surrounding area offer art and historic museums, stunning nature walks, shopping and access to the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound for boating and Kayaking.
RESERVATIONS
The retreat includes a combination of private and shared accommodations in the main house and gatehouse. Each room has its own character, and availability is limited. Room selections will be offered based on registration and availability. This retreat is limited to an intimate group of 14 guests.
PRICING
PRIVATE SINGLE ROOM
$1,513 per person
A private bedroom reserved entirely for you. Single rooms are limited and available on a first-come basis.
PRIVATE TWIN BED ROOM (2 Rooms)
$1,270 per person
A private room reserved entirely for one guest, one is furnished with bunk beds and one is a crib and twin bed. This is a lovely option for someone who wants privacy at a more accessible rate.
SHARED TWIN ROOM (4 Rooms)
$1,045 per person
Share a room with one other retreat guest. Each person will have their own twin bed.

A NOTE ABOUT THE WEEKEND
This is a sacred retreat, but it is also meant to feel warm, human and alive. There will be depth, ritual and spiritual exploration. There will also be beautiful meals, laughter, fireside conversations, quiet mornings and the freedom to step away when you need rest.
